FOR LOVE OF B+W...

THERE IS JUST SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL ABOUT BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY. I HAVE LONG BEEN AN ADMIRER OF B+W PHOTOGRAPHS & HAVE FOLDERS FULL OF THEM ON MY DESKTOP, FOR NO OTHER REASON THEN TO ALTERNATE THEIR BEAUTY ON MY SCREEN SAVER. I AM GOING TO START POSTING THEM ON THIS BLOG AS I CHANGE MY DESKTOP IMAGE, SO YOU CAN ENJOY THEM ALSO.... MY CURRENT VIEW IS THIS EXQUISITE IMAGE OF GISELE BUNDCHEN...

'One very important difference between color and monochromatic photography is this: in black and white you suggest; in color you state. Much can be implied by suggestion, but statement demands certainty… absolute certainty.' - Paul Outerbridge
